The idea of stilling an image was something that always fascinated Vanessa and she was determined to perfect it. Once she had her daughter, it motivated her to lose the fear of photographing babies. Photographing babies then led her to want to photograph newborns. Those first 2 weeks are so temporary, they are at their purest form. She had the pleasure of documenting over 1,000+ newborns in the last 10 years.
Vanessa currently resides in Broward County (city of West Miramar). She studied at Florida International University in Miami, Florida where she then became a 2nd grade teacher for 2 years. A better job opportunity lead her to her husband where they then got married, had a family and she picked up photography.
Vanessa has been trained and certified by the best in the world, and she is so grateful to able to give back everything she’s learned to her community as a fellow instructor.
Vanessa is married and is a mommy to two sweet girls.
